MANAGER Maurice Aylward believes Ballyhale Shamrocks’ progression to the Leinster club SHC final on Saturday represented a victory on two fronts.

First and foremost, Ballyhale’s facile 17-point win over the Westmeath champions in Mullingar booked their place in the November 30 final.

It’ll be their second final appearance in three years and a chance for the four-time All-Ireland champions to claim a sixth provincial crown.
