Forward thinking crucial as Abbeyside out to shock Ballyduff in replay

BALLYDUFF UPPER and Abbeyside square off tomorrow in the Waterford SHC semi-final replay at Fraher Field, Dungarvan (2pm).

Last week’s draw was an incredible affair in terrible conditions with Abbeyside coming from nine points down to almost snatch victory and a place in the decider against De La Salle.

But the champions are no strangers to replays having required two attempts to see off Lismore by a point. Abbeyside are sweating on the fitness of captain John Foley with John Phelan on standby to replace him.
