Rebelettes selector blasts Cronin manager snub

A SENIOR Cork camogie official last night admitted to being “astonished and disgusted” at the nominations for the sport’s manager of the year award.

Pat Murray, a selector on the side which won the All-Ireland last month, is furious that Cork boss Denise Cronin failed to make the list.

He is also aggrieved no females are included in the category. Instead Colm and Eoin Hanley (Clare), Joachim Kelly (Offaly) and Liam Dunne (Kilkenny) secured the nominations, which will be announced at the All Stars awards dinner in the CityWest Hotel.
