Ballyduff or Lismore set to face Abbeyside

THE Waterford SHC semi-final draw was made last night, with holders Ballyduff Upper or Lismore meeting Abbeyside, and Tallow playing De la Salle.

Dates and venues must be confirmed but the expectation is both will form a double header at Fraher Field, Dungarvan, on Sunday week, with the county final going ahead on November 2 or 9.

In the SFC relegation issue, Kilrossanty play Rathgormack, the losers then meeting John Mitchels to decide who drops down to the intermediate grade in 2009.

Tramore’s 0-12 to 0-19 victory over Geraldines in yesterday’s IFC final means a return to the senior ranks for the seaside club next year.
