Saints’ shot at redemption

THE Saints, Finbarr’s and Vincent’s, will endeavour to decide the destination of the Premier IFC title for the second time in a fortnight when they clash at Páirc Uí Chaoimh tomorrow in an eagerly-awaited replay, (2.15 pm).

The drawn game was a marvellous affair which swung the Barr’s way first before Vincent’s put in a storming second half which looked good enough to give them their second title in two years.

However the old adage that you have to be twice as good as the Blues to beat them rang true, and they finished strongly to set up tomorrow’s replay.
