Barr’s hang on to shade thriller
A drab first half — the Barr’s led 0-5 to 0-3 at the interval — provided absolutely no hint of what was to come in a sensational second period that produced one stretch of scintillating football from the Togher side.
And it was ignited by super-sub Pádraig Condon who was introduced by Newcestown at half-time and was just three minutes on the field when he latched onto a pin-point pass from Tadhg Twomey and turned the game upside down with a spectacular goal.
