After losing eight points advantages both in the Munster final and the League decider against Derry, the message for the All-Ireland champions in training this week will be very clear: they must “drive on” if they are to make it to the final and keep alive their hopes of three-in-a-row.

“The lads will know that they just have to finish games better and that when we have a lead we put the foot to the pedal to the very end,’’ said Geaney.
