The words of Cork coach Conor Counihan at the end of yesterday’s All-Ireland SFC quarter final against Kildare in Croke Park, tongue in cheek of course.

“That was much too close for comfort,” admitted Counihan, as Cork clung to a goal lead for the last five minutes after being so much in control of the game for long periods.
