O’Sullivan: no getting carried away after win

LIMERICK senior football manager Micky “Ned” O’Sullivan couldn’t be happier at getting another home tie in the All-Ireland qualifiers but cautions both supporters and players not to get carried away by the euphoria which has been whipped up by the comprehensive victory over Meath last Saturday night.

“While it’s great to get another home draw, a real home draw would be if we could play it in the West of Limerick where the passion for football really lies,” said O’Sullivan.

“The Gaelic Grounds is a splendid venue but will be as good for Kildare as it will be for Limerick. Having said that, we have played well there in recent weeks and hopefully we can keep the run going next weekend.
