Galvin makes last ditch attempt to save season

KERRY captain Paul Galvin tonight launches a final bid to save his championship season at a hearing of the Disputes Resolution Authority (DRA).

Galvin, suspended for six months after an incident involving Tipperary referee Paddy Russell in Kerry’s first-round win over Clare, has exhausted all other possibilities at having the sentence overturned or lessened.

The Finuge man delayed the meeting so not as to interfere with the Kingdom’s Munster final preparations.
