Not for the first time, the Killeagh forward displayed coolness in front of goal to get the vital score.

Dublin were two points behind when a Niall McCarthy effort dropped short in the 44th minute. Dublin keeper Gary Maguire gathered but Deane picked off his handpass across the 21-metre line and kept his nerve to goal from a tight angle.
