Freeman fires Mayo to victory
The sides were level at 0-15 each when Mayo dual star Keith Higgins hammered over a 100m free in the 63rd minute. Two more points from Adrian Freeman sealed the issue.
Both teams finished with 14 men. Mayo centre-back Seamus Barrett was sent off in the first half after two bookings. Kerry’s top scorer, Michael Conway followed on 52 minutes.
