A BAD week has become even worse for Tyrone football with the news that star forward Owen Mulligan was questioned by police about alleged criminal damage following a bar row in Cookstown last weekend.

Mulligan is believed to have been interviewed for over two hours by police before being released on bail after windows were smashed and the front door damaged during an incident at the bar around 10.30pm last Sunday evening.

The player was also questioned about the alleged possession of an offensive weapon, believed to be a workshop floor scraper.
