STRIKE or no strike, former dual U21 star Eoin Cadogan has been ruled out of action with Cork for at least six weeks following a chipped bone injury he sustained over the Christmas holidays.

A member of the county senior football team which lost last year’s All-Ireland final to Kerry, the Douglas player, because of the injury, has missed out on the South American holiday his teammates are currently enjoying.

An outstanding dual player, Cadogan is expected to figure prominently this year at senior level. Because of his versatility, Eoin is likely to be wanted by both senior teams but could be forced into making a choice as neither manager is likely to want a dual player.
