TIPPERARY’S Moyle Rovers created history and shattered the dreams of Cork challengers Barryroe in yesterday’s Munster Club Junior Hurling Championship final at Fermoy.

At the first time of asking, Moyle Rovers were justifiably crowned champions on a day when nothing went right for Barryroe.

The game was only three minutes old when a dropping ball from Moyle Rovers’ midfielder Peter Acheson ended up in the Cork side’s net, an absolute disaster for Barryroe considering they had started with a strong wind advantage.
