THE Leinster Council has confirmed the structures are already in place to complete the appeals process concerning the punishment meted out to Moorefield earlier this week.
Deadline looms for Moorefield

As a result, this Sunday’s provincial club semi-final between Moorefield and Tyrrellspass will go ahead as planned.

The Leinster Central Hearings Committee suspended two Moorefield players and took away home advantage from the Kildare champions for the remainder of the competition on Monday evening.

Moorefield representatives are known to be dismayed by the venue decision in particular, and indicated their determination to pursue all possible avenues to reverse the decision on Tuesday.

As of yesterday evening, the Council had not received notice of the club’s intention to appeal but Moorefield have until today to do so. If Moorefield do appeal, the next step will be a Central Appeals Hearing tonight and, if required, a Disputes Resolution Authority meeting tomorrow evening.
