Moorefield players await fate

THE Leinster Council Central Hearings Board met last night to decide what, if any, punishment to impose on a number of Moorefield players as a result of the brawl that marred their provincial quarter-final win over Dromard last month.

Moorefield players await fate

Their decision will be made public today after the Kildare champions have been notified and it is believed that three players are facing suspensions which would rule them out of the rescheduled semi-final against Tyrrellspass of Westmeath.

A number of Dromard players are also facing suspensions but their cases have yet to be heard as there is not the same urgency to deal with them as there obviously is with the Moorefield contingent.
