Battling Glenville dethrone champions Nemo in testing conditions
In the end Glenville edged home thanks to late points from Paidí Cahill and Kieran Coakley, relieving the champions of their title in the process — and deservedly so, for they adapted to the conditions better and there was far more purpose to their game.
Just four Nemo scores overall, including a fortuitous 19th-minute Conor Allen goal which kept his side in the hunt. Definitely un-Nemo like, whereas Glenville had real eager beavers in John Halbert and Paidí and Ger Cahill up front and always looked that little bit slicker.
