With one minute of ordinary time remaining, they had the chance of making history, just like Lissycasey footballers the previous Sunday, but lost it when corner-forward Paddy Meaney kicked a low shot outside the post. In over two minutes of injury time Tulla heroically defended a precious one-point lead, with midfielder Brian Lynch and wing-forward Eanna Torpey combining to get in a vital clearances.
