Brennan: future of U-21 grades in doubt

GAA President Nickey Brennan admits that the future of the U-21 championships remain in doubt.

The President said it was a matter of debating ‘the appropriateness’ of the grade, because of the involvement of so many players in senior squads, their own clubs and third-level teams.

Said Brennan: “Can we reasonably expect young men to serve so many masters and continue to maintain an appetite for the game?
