Converting goal chances the key

LIMERICK’S main weakness throughout the year was their failure to get goals and I wrote on Saturday that they needed to get goals to beat Waterford.

That’s exactly what they did at Croke Park yesterday.

Very few people gave them a chance but they fully believed that they could win and Waterford’s weakness in the full-back line was fully exploited by an eager Limerick full forward line who took the chances that came their way.
