Quill’s late point earns second chance for O’Rahilly’s

Two brilliant goals from Kieran Foley and Sean O’Sullivan seemed to have secured victory for 14-man Mid Kerry before Quill kept his nerve to set up a replay date.

David Moran opened O’Rahilly’s account after six minutes and another 13 elapsed before Darran O’Sullivan hit Mid Kerry’s equaliser. O’Rahilly’s were leading 0-4 to 0-1 when a melee broke out and referee Pat Sheehy issued a red card to the Mid Kerry corner back Kevin O’Brien.
