Premier name five changes for trip to the capital

TIPPERARY have made five changes from the side that scrambled its way to victory over Offaly last weekend for Saturday’s second All-Ireland SHC qualifier with Dublin at Parnell Park.

Paul Curran makes his first start of the 2007 championship at left corner back in place of the injured Diarmuid Fitzgerald. Shane Maher from Burgess makes his senior championship debut at left half back, while team captain Benny Dunne, Lar Corbett and Willie Ryan have been recalled to the starting line up.

Dunne is named as midfield partner to Hugh Moloney. Corbett takes over the left half forward position with Ryan named at top of the left.

Shane McGrath, James Woodlock, Pa Bourke and Liam Cahill are demoted to the substitutes bench on this occasion.

Laois have named the same team that lost to Galway last weekend for their second All-Ireland SHC qualifying match with Antrim at Casement Park on Saturday.

Longford have delayed naming their team to face Westmeath in the first round of the football qualifiers until they meet on Friday night as they have several injury doubts with captain and goalkeeper Damien Sheridan (ankle), wing back Shane Mulligan (shoulder) his brother Kevin (groin) and Paul Barden, who still has an ongoing back injury and hasn’t trained since he played a club league game last Friday week, the main concerns.

Kildare make two changes in personnel and a number of positional changes for Saturday’s All-Ireland SFC qualifier against Roscommon at Hyde Park.

Kevin O’Neill moves to full back, with David Lyons partnering Ronan Sweeney in midfield, at the expense of Ross Glavin, while Jason Phillips comes in for Tadhg Fennin in the full forward line
