Caffrey: we have plenty of areas to improve on

PAUL CAFFREY is the type of guy who doesn’t have a whole lot to say after the most exhilarating of football matches so it was no surprise that his chat with the media lasted little over the two-minute mark yesterday evening.

Dublin have given us some of the championship’s best fare in recent seasons but this was the type of game that falls through the cracks in the memory bank almost as soon as your head hits the pillow.

Bernard Brogan will recall it with fondness in years to come but only because it marked his first championship start.
