Clinical Tyrone show stuff of champions

SOME people fancied Tyrone, others had a suspicion it would be Donegal’s day but nobody expected this.

Tyrone came to Clones yesterday with questions marks hanging over their heads like guillotines. By the time they left they were being trumpeted as the next All-Ireland champions.

They really were that good. And more. If the GAA ever decides to circulate the definitive DVD on how to win a game, they could do worse than ask RTÉ for a copy of this destruction of Donegal who, lest we forget, were themselves being painted as the next big thing before the throw-in.
