McKeever gets Derry call-up to face Antrim

CATHAL McKEEVER, who played with New York in both hurling and football last season, is included in the Derry team to play Antrim in the Ulster SFC at Casement Park on Sunday.

The versatile McKeever is named at left half back on a Derry side that includes two newcomers, Michael McGoldrick and Raymond Wilkinson.

McGoldrick takes over the right corner back position, while Wilkinson is chosen at top of the right.

But there is no place for Paddy Bradley in the Derry squad. One of Derry’s most outstanding forward’s, Bradley had a 12-week suspension term put on hold by GAA Disputes Resolution Authority (DRA)

Meanwhile Louth have named an unchanged team for their third meeting with Wicklow in the Leinster SFC at Croke Park on Sunday.
