The Sunday Game to focus on Waterford

THE REWARD for Waterford’s first football championship victory in 19 years will be a live slot on The Sunday Game on Sunday June 3.

John Kiely’s heroes, who edged out Clare by two points last Sunday to give the Déise their first victory in the Munster SFC since 1988, now face the might of the All-Ireland senior champions, Kerry, in Fraher Field, Dungarvan. The game, which begins at 2pm, will be featured live on The Sunday Game that day, to be followed at 4pm by the Leinster senior football clash between old enemies Meath and Dublin.
