Injury to keep Donegal star Devenney out for three months
The news is a major blow to the new National League champions’ Championship prospects ahead of their Ulster SFC opener against Armagh on May 27.
“I’ve been told it’ll take three months; it’s a disaster,” Devenney admitted.
The player has been informed that an injection might enable him to play and train but he acknowledged that this proposed situation would be “far from ideal”.
The St Eunan’s clubman underwent a scan this week after retiring hurt in the NFL final against Mayo.
