St Brendan’s turn on the power to blow away DLS
Brendan’s laid the foundations for their facile win in the first-half. Electing to play with the driving wind and rain, they ran in 2-13 without reply and even with the elements in their favour, there was no way back for DLS.
The dominance of Gary and Christopher O’Leary at midfield meant the Waterford side were under pressure throughout the opening half. Playing excellent football in the difficult conditions, Brendan’s scored points freely to lead by 10 after 20 minutes.
