Glanmire through after easy win over Carrigaline

Despite the fact that Carrigaline had no chance of qualifying, they put up stubborn resistance and it wasn’t until Kieran Brosnan bagged the game’s only goal midway through the opening half that the home side got on top. After leading 1-5 to 0-3 at half time, Glanmire remained firmly in control throughout the second period and some splendid points by David Kearney and Mark Hickey helped them to a deserved victory which, subject to confirmation, sees them top their group with Dingle CBS as runners -up.
