Horgan the ace as Glen halt Town’s great run
Glen Rovers had both at Páirc Uí Chaoimh on Saturday, sweet striking by their captain Patrick Horgan denying Bishopstown the golden treble, the Blackpool youngsters retaining their Ulster Bank Cork Co Premier MHC title after a superb contest.
No question Horgan’s 12 points haul was pivotal. Just two other players abetted on the scoreboard, the menacing Conor Dorris and Richard Whitty. This trio proved the difference between two very competitive sides.
