Hungry Kilworth fancied to beat Cloughduv and take giant step

Kilworth have been waiting for this game for a number of weeks and, while they won’t be exactly ring-rusty, they will be lacking in match practice.

The North Cork champions lost the county final to Blarney in 1993 and to Fr O’Neills last year and have their heart set on getting back to the final and making amends. Will Twomey, Damien McNamara, county minor Adrian Mannix, Aidan Kenny and the vastly experienced John Hegarty will spearhead their challenge. The new Mid-Cork champions were very impressive in their victory over Ballinora and a repeat of that form could upset the odds.
