Cork chiefs to extend O2 deal

CORK GAA chiefs are close to agreeing a lucrative extension of their inter-county sponsorship deal with O2.

The present three-year deal concludes after this season and negotiations on a new agreement are progressing, O2’s sponsorship manager, Catherine Tiernan said yesterday.

“We’ve enjoyed a mutually beneficial relationship with the Board, team management and players, and it is our intention that it continue into the future,” she said.
