Ballymartle and Rovers battle for final spot

PREMIER Carrigdhoun clubs Valley Rovers and Ballymartle go head-to-head at Páirc Uí Rinn this evening with a place in the final of the Evening Echo Cork Co IHC at stake.

Both sides have been most impressive in the early rounds, with Valley Rovers defeating Carrigaline and Bandon after replays and following up with a quarter final success over Dromina. Coincidentally, Ballymartle also defeated Bandon and then went on to clip the wings of Fr. Neill’s and Milford after a replay.

For tonight’s game, which is timed to start at 7.30, Valley Rovers will be without Eamonn Collins, who was red-carded during the course of the Dromina game and is currently under suspension.
