GAA bosses have dismissed any suggestions that the Cork and Kerry All-Ireland SFC semi-final would be played outside of Croke Park.

GAA spokesman Fergal McGill said: “Tradition says all semi-finals and finals should be played at headquarters. The question of attendance would also be a serious consideration. From experience, a game of this magnitude would draw over 50,000 spectators and I don’t think it is a runner to play that semi-final anywhere but Croke Park.”
