Tickets for big Cork matches

TICKETS for the All-Ireland championship games involving the two Cork teams in Croke Park on the August week-end will go on sale to the public at Pairc Uí Rinn next Monday evening.

They will be available between 7 and 9 p.m. - for both stands and Hill 16. Family tickets will also be on sale.

Meanwhile, it’s as good as certain that no change will be made in the arrangement whereby Cork footballers play on Saturday in the All-Ireland quarter-final (against Donegal or Fermanagh) and Cork hurlers meet Waterford the following day in the All-Ireland semi-final.

The Cork Board made a second approach earlier in the week to have the two games played together on Sunday but no action was taken on it.
