CORK won their fourth Munster Intermediate hurling championship title in-a-row with a convincing five-point victory over Tipperary in glorious sunshine at Páirc Uí Chaoímh yesterday.

Fielding a team in which every one of the starting 15 had won intermediate medals in previous years, there was never any doubt about the outcome once the defending championship got into their stride.

Tipp’s second goal, which came with the second last puck, only served to put a more respectable look on the scoreboard.
