Geraghty and Barry to stay

EAMON BARRY and Graham Geraghty intend to remain with Meath despite the defeat to Laois in the third round of the All-Ireland qualifiers.

As was the case with Sean Boylan for every year he was involved, Barry is operating under a one-season term and it will be the county’s clubs that decide whether he has a role to play in 2007.

But he wishes to have another term: “We have the makings of a good team so I would like to stay on for another year and have another crack at it but that’s in the hands of the clubs next September. We’ll have to wait and see what happens from there,” said Barry.
