Another Galway probe as hurler ends up in hospital

THE Galway Hurling Board have to deal with another high profile incident after a player was hospitalised following a senior club hurling game on Sunday.

Meelick/Eyrecourt’s Rory McGauran was hurt in an off the ball incident and was later admitted to Tullamore General Hospital after the game.

The tense relegation play/off encounter ended in a draw as Ballindereen staged a dramatic late recovery to force a draw.
