Maher doubt

TIPPERARY full-back Philip Maher is extremely doubtful for Sunday’s Munster SHC semi-final against Waterford after suffering a knee injury over the weekend.

Maher was playing with his club Borrisoleigh in the North Tipp SHC against Nenagh on Saturday night.

Initial reports indicate a cartilage injury, which would sideline him for at least a month.
