Ballyduff face censure

BALLYDUFF face a stiff penalty tonight for their part in the disgraceful scenes which marred the recent Kerry SHC semi final with Kilmoyley.

GAA chiefs in Kerry will present county board delegates with proposed sanctions tonight, and they are expected to reflect the gravity of the incident.

Referee Gearoid O’Regan was assaulted at the final whistle by one player and threatened by a number of fans at Austin Stack Park.

Tonight’s board meeting will also hear delegate views on the Kerry football management structures, but no recommendation will be made on the position of Paídí Ó Sé as coach.
