Athea dominated the opening exchanges and were two points clear (0-5 to 0-3) after a tight opening spell but Drom-Broadford’s Michael Reidy converted a penalty to give his side a two point lead (1-8 to 0-9).
Athea stormed back with goals from Ger Ahern and substitute John Cotter to claim victory.
