Dublin are gunning for All-Ireland glory once more after they annihilated Meath in the first round of the TG4 Ladies Leinster SFC in Moynalty yesterday, (5-14 to 1-9).

At half-time they led 2-8 to 0-4 with Sinead Aherne and rising teenage star Lyndsay Davey finding the net.

Newly-appointed Dublin skipper Niamh McEvoy, Aherne and Karen Hopkins completed the goal rout on the resumption.

Gillian Bennett, who hit 1-5, scored a consolation goal for the Royals in the dying seconds.

Laois enjoyed a home victory over Kildare in Stradbally, 4-10 to 1-10. On Saturday, Longford beat Louth, 3-10 to 2-9.
