Kelly jumps to defence of under-fire refs

GAA PRESIDENT Sean Kelly yesterday leapt to the defence of under-fire referees and insisted the association will do everything in its power to ease the mounting pressure on them.

Kelly believes that criticism of inter-county referees has reached a ridiculous level and that the amount of live televised games has made the association will do everything in its power to ease the mounting pressure on them.
