Cork can handle resurgent Clare

THREE months ago, after defeat to Kilkenny in the NHL final, Clare’s season looked to be on the downward spiral.

But they are back in Croke Park tomorrow, only one game away from an All-Ireland SHC Final. And, while Kilkenny will be involved in the other semi, their star has begun to fade as much as Clare’s profile has been enhanced.

So, where does that leave All-Ireland champions Cork, bidding to contest their third consecutive decider yet failing to impress in their three outings?
