Camogie league final rescheduled

The game was scheduled as a curtain-raiser to the Dublin/Laois hurling championship game in Nowlan Park on Sunday but this clashed with the Munster game between Cork and Waterford in Thurles.

“Cumann Camógaíochta na nGael assessed the situation following the camogie semi-finals and a decision was taken, in the interest of greater co-operation and integration with Cumann Lúthchleas Gael, to defer the camogie game to facilitate supporters wanting to attend both games,” a spokesperson said.
