School’s out for Dolan as ban begins

THE Moate Community School in Westmeath inadvertently became the first casualty of county star Dessie Dolan’s 12-week ban last night.

The stiff sentence was confirmed yesterday, ruling team manager Dolan out of any meaningful role in Moate's Leinster colleges replay clash with St Mary's, Rochfortbridge last night.

The tie was played under lights in Tubber but Dolan was a frustrated onlooker.
