Camogie festivities planned to celebrate Lá na gClub

CUMANN Camógaíochta na nGael has left the inter-county fixture calendar free this weekend for Lá na gClub, an initiative began in 2004 as part of the Centenary Year.

Last year, clubs used the day to celebrate the sport’s Centenary Year and involve the community in the sport. Fundraisers, fun days, fancy dress matches and many more events were held by clubs and proved a huge success.

Following on from that, Cumann Camógaíochta na nGael decided to include the date in the calendar on an ongoing basis.
