Both teams were off key in the first half, which ended level at 1-4 to 0-7, Donncha O’Brien getting the goal.

Bruree went four points ahead in the second period but Knockainey battled back and three points by Patrick Kirby, Mike Ryan and Paddy McNamara, ensured their victory.
