Antrim boss Cahill boosts Limerick club
Cahill has already held training sessions with the panel of players.
A club spokesman said his arrival had given them a great lift. “We have a young team this season and Dinny is the man to get the best out of them. He is only an hour’s drive away from us.”
Doon, beaten finalists two years ago, need to get at least a point from their meeting with Adare at the weekend if they are to qualify for the quarter-finals.
Meanwhile, Limerick footballer Eoin Keating will be available for struggling Limerick FC for Saturday’s League game against promotion seekers Bray Wanderers and for the remainder of the campaign.
Keating quit the soccer scene earlier this year to devote his attention to Limerick’s National League and championship causes.
